Got Questions? We Have Answers.

Absolutely. Your safety is our foremost priority. All our trips use experienced, vetted drivers and guides, well-maintained vehicles, and accommodation partners with proven safety records. Uganda is widely regarded as one of East Africa's safest and most welcoming destinations for travelers. For international trips, we work with licensed, reputable local operators and monitor all government travel advisories continuously.

For domestic Uganda trips, we recommend booking 3–4 weeks in advance. For international packages (Zanzibar, Mombasa, Egypt, etc.), 6–8 weeks is advisable. For gorilla trekking, Uganda Wildlife Authority permits are strictly limited — book 3–6 months in advance, especially June–September (peak season) and December–February. For the Christmas and New Year Zanzibar Grand Tour, booking 4–5 months early is essential.

For domestic Uganda trips, a valid Uganda national ID is sufficient for Ugandan citizens. For all regional and international travel (Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Egypt, Dubai, etc.), a valid passport is required. Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months beyond your planned travel date. Contact us if you need guidance on passport applications.

For travel within East Africa, Ugandan citizens can use the East Africa Tourist Visa (USD 100, valid for multiple entries to Uganda, Kenya, and Rwanda). For Egypt, an e-Visa is available online at evisa.visa.gov.eg. For Dubai, a visa is required and we assist with the application process. We provide full visa guidance for all destinations as part of your trip planning.

t varies by package, but most include: return transport (road or air), accommodation for the specified nights, meals as per the board type selected, all ground transfers at the destination, and listed activities and site entry fees. Excluded items typically include personal spending, alcohol, tips and gratuities, travel insurance, and add-on activities not listed. We provide a full, itemized inclusion and exclusion list with every package quotation.

es. All our packages can be organized as completely private trips for individuals, couples, families, or exclusive groups — with full flexibility on dates and itinerary. Private trips also allow you to customize activities freely. Contact us for a private trip quotation.

A 30–50% deposit is required to confirm your booking, with the balance due before departure. We accept bank transfers, MTN and Airtel mobile money, and cash at our Kyaliwajala office. For cancellations: more than 30 days before departure — partial refund (less deposit and any non-refundable costs already incurred); 14–30 days before departure — 50% refund; less than 14 days before — non-refundable. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance. Full terms provided at booking.

Full Board includes all three daily meals — breakfast, lunch, and dinner — at your accommodation. Bed & Breakfast (B&B) includes breakfast only; you pay for lunch and dinner yourself. Full Board is recommended for lodge-based safari trips where restaurant options outside the lodge are limited or non-existent. B&B can work well in cities (Nairobi, Mombasa, Zanzibar Stone Town) where you want flexibility to explore local restaurants.

Yes. We design family-friendly itineraries tailored to children's ages, physical capabilities, and interests. Game drives, boat cruises, beach holidays, and cultural experiences are all excellent for families. Note: gorilla trekking requires participants to be 15 years and older, as per Uganda Wildlife Authority regulations.

Key items: neutral-coloured clothing (khaki, green, brown — avoid white and bright colours for game drives), light waterproof jacket, long-sleeved shirts for dawn/dusk, sturdy walking shoes or boots, insect repellent (DEET-based), sunscreen, binoculars, camera with zoom lens, valid travel documents, and a small day pack. For gorilla trekking specifically: long trousers, gaiters or thick socks to tuck in, gardening gloves, and a light rainproof layer are all essential.
